Job summary

Hightown Housing Association Ltd is seeking a Support Worker in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on creating and following personalised support plans and promoting essential daily living skills within a vibrant supported living setting.

You will support residents with medication, personal care, and goal attainment, while contributing to risk assessments. You may also induct and mentor new staff as needed, with some sleep-in shifts and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
• Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification.
• At least one sleep-in per week (paid at a flat rate of £52.78).
• Weekend and bank holiday working required.

Job description

As a Support Worker, you will:

Shift patterns include: The role operates on a rota basis, with shifts including early, late and sleep-in duties. Typical shift times are: 07:00 - 15:00, 07:30 - 15:30, 08:00 - 16:00, 12:30 - 20:30, 14:00 - 22:00, plus sleep-in shifts as required. Please note: lone working is required, so confidence, responsibility and clear communication are essential.
