Job summary

The White Lion in Amersham is seeking a dedicated support worker to provide one-to-one, person-centred assistance to adults living in supported accommodation.

You will help with daily living, personal care, medication, and community activities; must have care certificate or willingness to qualify; a full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential; sleep-ins required with an additional £52.78 per sleep-in.

Join our caring team at White Lion Road, a supported living service where six adults with learning disabilities live independently in their own self-contained flats. We work together to create a respectful, inclusive environment where each person feels supported, understood and empowered to live confidently.

You are caring, proactive and experienced in support or care work. You communicate clearly, adapt to individual needs and value collaboration and inclusion. You work well independently and as part of a team, and you're flexible to cover shifts including weekends and bank holidays. Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Please note: A minimum of one sleep-in per week is required as part of the role, with an additional allowance of £52.78 per sleep-in.
