Job summary

Hightown Housing Association Ltd is recruiting for a Care Assistant at Bridgewell, our supported living service for adults with learning disabilities. You will provide personal care, assist with daily tasks and help residents participate in community activities in a warm, respectful environment.

Shifts include weekends and bank holidays (various times). A full UK driving licence and a care qualification are required or willing to undertake training; a sleep-in once per week is expected with a

Job description

Join us at Bridgewell, our new supported living service where adults with learning disabilities are supported to live confidently and independently in a warm, respectful environment. Our team works closely together to provide personalised, compassionate care that empowers each person to make their own choices and feel included in every aspect of daily life.

You will support with personal care, medication, daily tasks, and community activities, helping people build confidence and stay safe during unexpected situations.

Requirements

• Reliable and flexible (shifts include weekends/bank holidays: 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, 2pm-10pm)
• Supportive of an environment where everyone feels valued and included

Please note: A minimum of one sleep-in per week is required as part of the role, with an additional allowance of £52.78 per sleep-in.

It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence (manual) and hold a care certificate or be willing to undertake a care qualification.
