Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking compassionate female Support Workers in Greater Manchester to provide 1:1 support to a vibrant young woman living in her own flat. Salary is £13.50 per hour, with a 36-hour contract, day and wake-night shifts 08:00–20:00 and 20:00–08:00.

Ideal candidates have prior experience with learning disabilities, excellent communication, and a flexible, proactive attitude to help maintain independence and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential.
• A genuine passion for promoting independence and person-centred support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a young woman living independently in her own flat in Greater Manchester.

Support Worker Pay rate:£13.50 Contract: 36 Hours Days and Wake Nights Shift Pattern:08:00am - 20:00, 20:00pm - 08:00am We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Female Support Workers to join our dedicated team, providing 1:1 support to a vibrant and outgoing young woman living independently in her own flat in Greater Manchester.

She has a learning disability, but this certainly does not hold her back.She enjoys living life to the fullest, with interests including shopping trips, getting her nails done, attending nightclubs, and staying active in the community.We are seeking approachable, down-to-earth individuals who can support and empower her to maintain her independence and enjoy the activities she loves.

Experience & Skills of a Support Worker: Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential.

A genuine passion for promoting independence and person-centred support.

A flexible and proactive attitude to supporting someone to live their best life.
