Job summary

Real Life Options is recruiting for a Support Worker in the Cupar area. This role offers part-time (35 hours) and relief positions with shifts including day and night patterns.

You will support individuals to live independently with dignity, choice and inclusion, and help with daily routines, personal care and community activities. Full training and ongoing support are provided; previous care experience is desirable.

  • Experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support with daily routines and planning for individuals.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial management.

  • Help with household tasks and domestic duties.
  • Administer medications as directed and monitor wellbeing.
  • Encourage independence and participation in community activities.

Support Worker
Part Time (35hrs) & Relief Positions Available

Salary:£13.45 per hour

Location:Beechwood – Cupar Area, Northeast Fife Services

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to individuals. You will help people live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with daily routines and planning
  • Assisting with budgeting and financial management
  • Providing personal care and emotional support
  • Helping with household tasks and domestic duties
  • Administering medication
  • Encouraging independence and confidence

A rewarding part of the role is supporting people to enjoy activities within the community.

This may include:

  • Going to the gym or swimming
  • Using public transport
  • Attending social activities and appointments
  • Encouraging participation and social inclusion

Every day is different, and your support can have a genuine impact on someone’s quality of life.

Shift Patterns

We provide support 24 hours a day, therefore flexibility is important.

Shifts may include:

Day Shifts
  • 8:00am – 3:00pm
  • 3:00pm – 10:00pm
Waking Nights & Sleepovers

Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
