Job summary

Real Life Options in the Cupar area is seeking a part-time Support Worker to help individuals live independently with dignity and choice. You will support with daily routines, personal care and community activities, promoting inclusion and empowerment.

No specific care experience is required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. Shifts include day hours and waking nights with flexibility, and a rewarding sense of making a real difference.

Support Worker

Part Time (35hrs) & Relief Positions Available

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Location: Beechwood - Cupar Area, Northeast Fife Services

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to individuals. You will help people live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting with daily routines and planning
• Assisting with budgeting and financial management
• Providing personal care and emotional support
• Helping with household tasks and domestic duties
• Administering medication
• Encouraging independence and confidence

A rewarding part of the role is supporting people to enjoy activities within the community.

This may include:

• Going to the gym or swimming
• Using public transport
• Attending social activities and appointments
• Encouraging participation and social inclusion

Every day is different, and your support can have a genuine impact on someone's quality of life.

Shift Patterns

We provide support 24 hours a day, therefore flexibility is important.

Shifts may include:

Day Shifts

• 8:00am - 3:00pm
• 3:00pm - 10:00pm

Waking Nights & Sleepovers
