Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for the Southside of Glasgow on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) with day and night shifts available. You will provide person-centred support to help individuals live the life they choose, assisting with personal care, meals and daily tasks.

You will work alongside an experienced team, promoting independence, supporting appointments, and keeping clear records.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering person-centred support.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and alone.
  • Enhanced PVG clearance required (we will support the application process).

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, medication support, cooking and household tasks.
  • Enable involvement in the local community and promote independence.
  • Support with making and attending health care appointments.
  • Communicate with medical professionals and implement support plans and risk assessments.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and family members.

Support Worker

Location: Southside of Glasgow

Contract: Part time - 30 hours (Day & Night shift available) / Relief

Pay: £13.45 per hour

What You'll Do

Shift Patterns

Day Shift Patterns (Rota Basis) - 9am - 3pm, 9am - 9pm, 8am - 9pm

Night Shift (Fixed) - 9pm - 8am
