Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking a Support Worker in the HA5 area to help people live independently at home. You will follow individual plans, assist with daily tasks, budgeting and personal care, delivering safe, person-centred support.

Previous experience is helpful but not essential, with full induction and ongoing development provided. This role offers flexible shifts with days, evenings, weekends and nights, plus a competitive rate of £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience in care or similar role is helpful but not required.
  • Willingness to undertake induction and accredited training.
  • Strong communication and empathetic approach to individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Follow individual daily planners and routines.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial expenditure.
  • Provide personal care where required.
  • Deliver domestic support to maintain a safe home.
  • Support with administration of medication where appropriate.
  • Encourage participation in community activities.
  • Promote independence, wellbeing and social inclusion.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will support individuals in their own homes, helping them to live as independently as possible. Your role will include:

  • Following individual daily planners and routines
  • Supporting with financial expenditure and budgeting
  • Assisting with personal care where required
  • Providing domestic support to maintain a safe and comfortable home
  • Supporting with the administration of medication
  • Encouraging participation in activities within the local community
  • Promoting independence, wellbeing and social inclusion

You’ll be part of a supportive team, helping individuals build confidence, develop skills and enjoy meaningful experiences.

Experience & Training

Previous experience is helpful but not essential. If you have the right values and attitude, we will provide:
