Job summary

Lime FMS in Leeds is seeking an experienced Support Head Housekeeper to lead our hotel housekeeping team, ensuring high cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction. You will work closely with hotel management to manage daily operations, allocate staff, and drive improvements in presentation and service.

The ideal candidate has prior hotel housekeeping leadership experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping is required.
• Head Housekeeper/Deputy Head Housekeeper or Supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards.
• Confident in supervising and supporting a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business demands.
• Willing to work alongside hotel management and lead by example.

Responsibilities

Due to increased business demands, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Support Head Housekeeper to join our team and provide additional operational support in the Leeds area.

About the Role

As a Support Head Housekeeper, you will work closely with the hotel management and housekeeping teams to ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting with the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department.
• Supervising and motivating housekeeping teams to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Assisting with room checks and ensuring rooms are cleaned and presented to the required standard.
• Supporting with staff allocation and daily workload planning.
• Helping to manage increased occupancy and periods of high business demand.
• Providing support with training and onboarding of new housekeeping colleagues.
• Monitoring cleaning standards and addressing any issues promptly.
• Working closely with hotel management to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Stepping in to support the wider housekeeping team when required.
• Helping to ensure health, safety and company procedures are followed at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience within hotel housekeeping.
• Ideally has experience as a Head Housekeeper, Deputy Head Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
• Is confident supervising and supporting a team.
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Is flexible and able to respond to changing business demands.
• Is confident working alongside hotel management and taking responsibility when required.
• Has a positive, hands‑on approach and leads by example.
