Job summary

Lime FMS Limited in Gloucester is seeking a Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our busy hotel team. This hands-on role involves supervising the housekeeping team, checking room standards, and supporting the Head Housekeeper to deliver the highest level of service.

The successful candidate will be proactive, flexible, and an excellent team player, capable of multitasking and leading by example to maintain welcoming, spotless spaces for guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of room attendants, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Carrying out room attendant duties when required, during busy periods.
• Complete room checks and ensure standards are consistently achieved; motivate and develop the team.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Support the Head Housekeeper with daily operations and any additional tasks.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our busy hotel team in Gloucester.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of housekeeping. You will play a key part in supporting the Head Housekeeper, supervising the team, checking room standards, and ensuring our guests receive the highest level of service.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting a housekeeping team and maintaining excellent hotel room standards. You must be a proactive team player who is happy to get stuck in, multitask, and support wherever needed, whether that's supervising colleagues, carrying out room attendant duties, completing checks, or helping the team achieve daily targets.

No two days will be the same, so we are looking for someone who is flexible, positive, organised, and enjoys working as part of a friendly and dedicated team. You will lead by example, motivate others, and help create a welcoming environment where everyone works together to deliver exceptional results.
