Delivering Exceptional Housekeeping Standards Across Multiple Sites

A leading provider of outsourced housekeeping services to hotels across the UK is seeking an experienced Multi-Site Head Housekeeper to oversee housekeeping operations across multiple hotel sites in Leeds on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for maintaining consistently high housekeeping standards across multiple locations, providing strong leadership to on‑site teams, and building effective relationships with hotel management. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring excellent organisation, flexibility, and the ability to manage competing priorities across different sites.

Role Overview

The Multi‑Site Head Housekeeper will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of housekeeping operations across multiple sites in the Leeds area.

This includes managing and supporting housekeeping teams, conducting quality inspections, ensuring health and safety compliance, delivering training and development, monitoring performance, and working closely with hotel management to achieve consistently high standards.

The role requires regular travel between sites and the ability to adapt quickly to the individual requirements of each hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire housekeeping teams across multiple hotel sites to consistently achieve high service standards.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with hotel management, staff, and key stakeholders across each location.
• Conduct regular room, floor, and site inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness and quality standards.
• Monitor housekeeping performance across all sites and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor site budgets and contribute to effective cost control and operational efficiency.
• Report weekly performance updates, challenges, and key developments to the Operations Manager.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of housekeeping teams across multiple locations.
• Ensure team members are trained, productive, and supported through regular coaching and mentoring.
• Provide operational support to individual sites when required, including covering staffing challenges and periods of increased demand.
• Ensure consistent implementation of company procedures, policies, and housekeeping standards across all sites.
• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Monitor staffing levels, productivity, attendance, and performance across each location.
• Promote professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and a positive culture across all housekeeping teams.
• Work collaboratively with hotel management to respond to guest feedback and maintain excellent service standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and overall housekeeping performance across the portfolio.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a Head Housekeeper, Multi‑Site Head Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, or similar supervisory/management role within hospitality.

Experience managing or supporting teams across multiple hotel sites would be highly advantageous.

Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing, motivating, and managing teams.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and locations effectively.

Confident using IT systems for scheduling, reporting, communication, and team management.

Skilled in delivering training and maintaining high health and safety standards.

Flexible and willing to travel between multiple sites across the Leeds area.

Proactive, approachable, and solutions‑focused, with a professional attitude and a good sense of humour.

Passionate about delivering exceptional housekeeping and guest service standards.
