Location: Bedford (MK8)

£90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience) | Flexible, Ongoing Supply Work

Are you a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant who thrives in environments where every day brings new opportunities to support children? A friendly specialist school in Bedford is seeking supply Teaching Assistants to provide flexible cover across their setting. The school works with learners aged 4‑19 with Profound, Multiple and Complex Learning Needs, alongside pupils with Autism and Social Communication challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values child‑centred practice and enjoys making a meaningful difference, even in short‑term placements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with ASD and social communication needs
  • Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils with daily routines, communication development, and social skills
  • Work collaboratively with onsite staff to ensure consistency and wellbeing for each learner
