Job summary

The Gatehouse in Highgate Village is seeking a talented Supervisor with pub experience to lead our bar team and partner with a busy kitchen to deliver outstanding service seven days a week.

You will thrive on product knowledge, training staff, handling customer queries, and promoting the venue and events. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus tronc and opportunities to progress as we open new sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate clear knowledge of products through genuine recommendations and presentation of food and drink.
• Take responsibility for the team on shift to meet service standards and safety expectations.
• Train the team to ensure they have knowledge for an unforgettable experience.
• Deal with customer queries quickly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead bar team on shift to deliver service excellence.

We are currently looking for a talented and driven Supervisor, with experience in premium food and bar establishments to join our team.The Gatehouse is an independent local pub, restaurant and beer garden, located in the picturesque heart of Highgate Village. Under the watchful eye of our head chef Chris Payne, our focus lies on quality seasonal British food with a strong Spanish influence, sourced from the finest producers and suppliers. Every Sunday we serve up the best roasts in Highgate. Behind the bar you’ll find an excellent range of local and continental craft beer and cask ale, an impressive global wine list and classic cocktails. Join us for lunch or dinner, grab a coffee or just roll in for a few pints - we are open seven days a week.
