Arup invites applications for a 6–12 week Summer Internship in Hydraulic Modelling within Water Utilities in Cardiff. You will work with experienced engineers on real projects, developing practical skills in hydraulic modelling, data analysis and reporting, while building your professional network for future graduate opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geography degree (or higher)
• Interest in water utilities and hydraulic modelling
• Willingness to learn through practical, real-life projects

Aufgaben

• Analyze and scope large datasets, surveys, catchment information and hydraulic models
• Develop hydraulic models for rivers, urban drainage and water quality
• Create engineering design options and prepare technical drawings and reports
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and present our work
• Maintain records of meetings, reports and design decisions
• Learn toward professional membership through supervision and feedback
