Job summary

Arup in Bristol is seeking a Graduate Water Engineer / Hydraulic Modeller to join our rivers and water utilities team. You will develop skills in hydraulic modelling, catchment analysis, and spatial data, applying them to UK and international projects from day one.

You will work with a team of engineers and environmental scientists, receive mentoring, and have opportunities to present work and progress toward professional membership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Experience with GIS and spatial data is required; Python/FME experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hydraulic modelling software and data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets, perform gap analysis and plan investigations.
• Develop hydraulic models for urban drainage, rivers and coasts.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver solutions.
• Maintain records of meetings, reports and data to ensure quality.
• Pursue professional membership through continuous learning.
