Job summary
Arup, a global consultancy, invites graduates to join our rivers and water infrastructure team in the UK. From day one you will work with engineers, hydraulic modellers and environmental scientists to deliver resilient water and wastewater solutions and gain hands-on experience in modelling, catchment analysis and technical reporting.
You will be supported to pursue professional membership, learn new software, and contribute ideas in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, Geography, Geospatial Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related field.
- Experience with GIS or spatial data; interest in Python, FME and hydraulic modelling software.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets, assess gaps, and scope future investigations.
- Develop hydraulic models for urban drainage, rivers and coasts.
- Collaborate with Contractors and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver solutions.
- Maintain records of meetings, reports, workshops and design decisions.
- Support professional membership and continuous learning.
