Job summary
Arup is seeking a Graduate Hydraulic Engineer / Modeller for Water Utilities in Bristol. You will join an integrated team delivering clean water and wastewater infrastructure across the UK and beyond.
From day one, you’ll gain hands-on experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment analysis and technical reporting, supported by experienced specialists and opportunities toward professional membership. You will work on projects ranging from small scale civil works to major infrastructure programmes,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, Geography, Geospatial Science or related field.
- Experience with GIS and spatial data; interest in Python, FME and hydraulic modelling software is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data, perform scoping of surveys, and manage field surveys with contractors.
- Develop hydraulic models of urban drainage, rivers and coastal systems; support multi-disciplinary delivery.
- Collaborate internally and with external partners; present and review designs.
- Maintain records of meetings, reports and data to ensure quality.
