Job summary

Arup is inviting motivated students for a 6–12-week Summer Internship in water and civil engineering. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams on real projects from day one, gaining exposure to modelling, analysis and reporting.

Expect leadership sessions, site visits and a structured development path to build your professional network. You will learn how to apply sustainability and resilience principles across water infrastructure and catchment work, with mentoring and hands-on tasks that

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for a career in Water and knowledge of the sector.
• Candidates working towards a degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geography or related water discipline.
• Graduate or internship applicants encouraged; ICE/CIWEM accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage in real life water projects and learn from experienced professionals.
• Develop practical skills in hydraulic modelling and catchment analysis.
• Contribute to technical reporting and collaborative project delivery.
• Attend learning sessions, site visits and leadership briefings.
• Document work and progress as part of professional development.
• Support the team in meeting safety and quality standards.
