Job summary

Arup is offering a 6–12-week Summer Internship in Water Utilities – Bristol. You will work with skilled professionals on real projects, learning through regular sessions, site visits and collaborative problem solving.

This placement serves as a stepping-stone toward future opportunities within Arup. We seek students pursuing a degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geography, or a related field, including masters or post-graduate studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geography.
• Master's or post-graduate degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist on water/civil engineering projects and learn from experienced professionals.
• Participate in hydraulic modelling, catchment analysis and data interpretation.
• Support technical reporting, design calculations and drawings as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Attend site visits and learning sessions to understand real project delivery.
• Contribute ideas, present findings and develop professional network.
