Job summary

Arup is offering an Industrial Internship for a Civil Engineer focusing on Water Utilities in Bristol. You will join an integrated team delivering innovative solutions for rivers, coastlines, and clean water infrastructure across the UK and internationally.

From day one you will contribute to data analysis, catchment studies, hydraulic modelling and design deliverables, with support from a network of technical specialists. A passion for sustainability and learning mindset are key.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a relevant degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
Studying disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Geography & Geospatial Science.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Python, FME and GIS.

Responsibilities

Assisting in delivering integrated water utilities projects for clients in the UK and internationally.
Contributing to data analysis, catchment information, hydraulic models, and reports.
Support technical delivery, calculations, drawings and modelling under supervision.
Maintaining records of meetings, workshops and technical outputs.
Communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, presenting work and contributing to design reviews.
