Job summary

ALPADIA Language Schools SA invites applications for Academic Manager (Fixed Term Summer Contract) 2027. You will lead the academic department, oversee English language instruction at our camps, and support EFL teachers to deliver high-quality lessons while maintaining safety and student welfare.

The role requires management of teaching staff, a focus on curriculum adherence, and the delivery of CPD and induction for new staff, with paid training provided to support success in this role.

Qualifications

3 years of EFL teaching experience.
Experience in management in EFL or education settings.
Educational management experience in a summer or residential setting.
Experience in British Council inspections or equivalent quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Lead the academic department and oversee English program delivery.
Ensure staff are correctly staffed and manage student/teacher ratios.
Deploy teachers by skills and course needs; maintain records and certificates.
Conduct weekly teacher meetings and participate in inter-camp academic meetings.
