Job summary

ALPADIA seeks an Academic Manager to lead English programs at our camps, guiding the teaching team and ensuring high standards in student/teacher ratios. You will support EFL teachers, oversee curriculum delivery, and coordinate with welfare and activity managers to ensure a smooth, safe, and engaging experience for young learners.

You will manage scheduling, assessments, and end-of-course certificates while promoting professional development and best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• 3 years of EFL teaching experience
• Experience in managing a team
• Experience in teacher development and conducting teacher observations
• Experience in dealing with complaints
• Experience in British Council inspections and curriculum design

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic department across camps
• Staff all classes with appropriate ratios
• Deploy teachers to match student needs
• Maintain academic records and progress reports
• Prepare end-of-course certificates with remarks
• Ensure lessons start/end on time and classrooms are ready
• Coordinate with Welfare Manager on morning programme
• Lead daily Teacher's Meetings and weekly inter-camp meetings
• Lead training and induction of teaching staff
• Safeguard and promote student wellbeing
• Deliver CPD workshops and monitor teacher performance
