Job summary

ALPADIA Language Schools SA invites applications for the Academic Manager (Fixed Term Summer Contract) for 2027, based in Brighton, UK. You will lead English program delivery at the camp, manage the teaching team, ensure high standards, and maintain student/teacher ratios.

Role begins with paid training and requires DBS checks where applicable. This position runs Mon-Fri, 08:00–16:30, in a dynamic, international environment with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Qualifications

• 3 years of EFL teaching experience.
• Experience in summer schools (or similar structures) preferred.
• Leadership and management experience in an educational setting.
• Experience in curriculum design.

Responsibilities

• Manage the camps' academic department and ensure staffing and student/teacher ratios.
• Lead teaching team; provide guidance, training and observations.
• Oversee lesson quality and timetable adherence; ensure ICT readiness.
