Job summary

ALPADIA Language Schools is seeking an energetic Activity Manager for a fixed-term Summer 2027 contract at our Ardingly course centre in the UK. You will lead an international team to deliver engaging co-curricular activities while prioritising student safety and welfare.

Role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with experience in education or youth work. The position includes on-site accommodation and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating activities in summer camps, youth programmes, or educational settings.
• Experience supervising Activity Leaders or similar staff teams.
• Ability to plan, organise and deliver a varied activity programme.
• Knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding and risk assessment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of students in our care.
• Prep and deliver afternoon/premium activities with proper staging for student enjoyment.
• Prepare session plans and risk assessments for activities.
• Lead daily meetings with the activity team and delegate sessions.
• Ensure quality excursions and complete the Excursion Pack with lists, itineraries, risk assessments and tasks.
• Manage student attendance and sign-up processes for activities.
