Job summary

ALPADIA is seeking an Academic Manager in the United Kingdom to lead the English language programs at our camp. You will guide the teaching team, manage staff/student ratios, and ensure high academic standards.

You will support EFL teachers with resources, monitor progress, and ensure quality lessons across all activities. You will ensure timely academic planning, staff development, and adherence to ALPADIA curriculum while coordinating with Welfare and Camp Managers to create a safe, engaging,

Qualifications

• Educational management experience in a summer or residential setting.
• Experience in management in EFL (or similar educational environment).
• Experience in teacher development and conducting teacher observations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the camps' academic department.
• Ensure correct staffing and adherence to student/teacher ratios.
• Lead teaching team and provide daily guidance and training.
• Prepare end-of-course certificates with tailored remarks from teachers.
• Maintain academic files, planners, test results, and staff records.
• Attend weekly academic meetings and lead daily Teacher's Meetings.
• Ensure safeguarding, welfare and student discipline are upheld.

3 years of EFL teaching experience

Excellent communication and Interp.

Education

Level 6 Qualification
