Job summary

ALPADIA Language Schools SA seeks an Academic Manager for a fixed-term summer contract (2027) in London. You will lead the English program across camps, ensure high teaching standards, and manage teacher/student ratios.

This role includes training, CPD delivery, and coordinating with welfare and activity teams to ensure a smooth, high-quality learning experience. You will oversee academic files, certificates, and daily operations, with paid training provided to support your success.

Qualifications

• 3 years of EFL teaching experience.
• Experience leading a teaching team and CPD delivery.
• Experience in curriculum development and adapting syllabus for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Manage academic department across all camps.
• Staffing and scheduling to maintain student/teacher ratios.
• Lead weekly teaching meetings and teacher observations.
• Oversee attendance, safeguarding, and welfare in the academic program.
• Coordinate with Welfare, Camp Manager and Activity Manager for smooth operation.
