ALPADIA is seeking an Academic Manager to lead our English programs at our camp in the United Kingdom. You will oversee the academic department, supervise teachers, manage student/teacher ratios, and ensure high-quality language delivery for young learners.

You will coordinate with welfare and camp managers, drive teacher development, and lead CPD workshops while maintaining safeguarding and outstanding customer service for participants and agents alike.

Qualifications

• Be responsible for the overall management of the camps' academic department.
• Ensure classes are staffed and ratios are adhered to according to guidelines.
• Lead the teaching team and provide daily guidance and training.
• Ensure all lessons start and finish on time and classrooms are prepared.
• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students in our care.
• Lead weekly academic meetings and contribute to day-to-day operations.

Responsabilités

• Prepare end-of-course certificates with tailored remarks from teachers.
• Liaise with Camp Manager and Welfare Manager to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor student attendance and punctuality; address issues promptly.
• Sign relevant risk assessments and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
• Oversee ICT equipment readiness and support teachers' use of technology.
• Conduct teacher observations and provide feedback for ongoing development.
