Job summary

Exchange Street Claims & Financial Services is seeking a proactive Subsidence Claims Handler to join its UK-wide operations in Lancashire. You will manage your own caseload of subsidence claims, using digital solutions and liaising with surveying engineers to progress instructions.

Ideal candidates will have buildings/subsidence claims handling experience, solid knowledge of insurance principles, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong IT skills to work to client SLA's and KPI's.

Qualifications

• Experience handling buildings/subsidence claims.
• Knowledge of insurance principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure with deadlines and timescales.
• Strong IT/Systems competency.
• Industry qualifications CertCILA/Cert CII, or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of subsidence claims.
• Carry out desk-top handling using digital solutions.
• Work closely with Surveying Engineers arranging instruction.
• Liaise with all relevant parties ensuring the smooth management of the claims process.
• Provide a high standard of customer service.
• Utilise your exceptional subsidence knowledge.
• Work to client SLA's and KPI's.
