Responsibilities

• Conducting commissioning, testing and calibration activities on submarine electrical systems.
• Supporting the Senior Test Engineer to optimise team efficiency.
• Applying nuclear safety protocols and ensuring compliance with Clyde Safety Management Arrangements.
• Producing technical documentation and test reports.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Skills

Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Effective interpersonal and relationship-building abilities

Understanding of commissioning processes (desirable but not essential)

Education

Recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC

Proven experience in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent)
