Ashfield School, part of The Two Counties Trust, is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer in Nottingham to work with a Head of Year on pastoral matters, safeguarding and parental engagement. You will support Attendance Officers with attendance, parent communications and student wellbeing, ensuring high standards and positive behaviour across the year group.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring or coaching young people.
• Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour.
• Courage to challenge students to be their best with compassion and resilience.

Responsabilités

• Support Attendance Officers with attendance issues within the designated year group.
• Provide pastoral support within the year group, including uniform checks and interventions.
• Carry out duties before school, at break and lunch, and additional duties in the Pastoral base.
• Support on-call around site and assist with safeguarding and parental engagement.
• Build relationships with families and external agencies to support student welfare.
