Job summary

Astrea Academy Woodfields is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to help create a safe, supportive learning environment for scholars. You will work with the Pastoral Year Leads to promote wellbeing, attendance and positive behaviour, liaise with families and external agencies, and maintain accurate pastoral records.

The role emphasises safeguarding, inclusion and high expectations, with opportunities for professional development within a growing multi-academy trust.

Responsibilities

• Support Scholar Success: promote positive behaviour, attendance and wellbeing with scholars, staff and families.
• Build Strong Relationships: liaise with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure appropriate support.
• Maintain High Standards: support behaviour systems, detention processes, suspensions and reintegration.
• Pastoral Administration: maintain records, monitor attendance and prepare reports.
• Support Learning and Inclusion: contribute to a positive environment where scholars can learn and thrive.
