Job summary

Chilton Trinity School, part of Futura Learning Partnership, is seeking a Pastoral Support Officer to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, support positive behaviour, attendance and safeguarding, and work with staff, families and external agencies to ensure student engagement.

Role involves coordinating targeted support alongside Heads of House, safeguarding, attendance and SEND colleagues, with a focus on improving student outcomes and wellbeing within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Experience of working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting.
• Ability to support students with behavioural, attendance, wellbeing or safeguarding needs with a calm, professional approach.
• Commitment to inclusion and ensuring every child has equal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support students with behavioural, attendance, wellbeing or safeguarding needs.
• Coordinate targeted support and interventions to improve student outcomes.
