Job summary

Hadley Learning Community, Hadley, Telford, is seeking a dedicated Student Support Manager for the Secondary Phase. The permanent role (Scale 6, 18–22) is 37 hours a week during term time plus 5 PD days, with a salary of £28,522–£30,478.

The successful candidate will work with students, families and staff to promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and wellbeing, providing pastoral support, mentoring and safeguarding support to help students achieve their full potential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people and a strong understanding of behaviour management, attendance and safeguarding practices would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support to students and mentoring to help overcome barriers to learning.
• Support safeguarding processes and help create an environment where all students can succeed.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, punctuality and wellbeing across the secondary phase.
• Work closely with students, families, staff and external agencies to improve outcomes.
