Job summary

Hadley Learning Community (Secondary) is seeking a Student Support Manager on a permanent basis. The role is 37 hours Term Time + 5 PD Days, at scale 6 (point 18-22), with a salary of £28,522 - £30,478 per year.

The post involves providing pastoral support, mentoring students, managing behaviour incidents and supporting safeguarding to help students overcome barriers and thrive academically and personally.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people and a strong understanding of behaviour management, attendance and safeguarding practices would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support, mentoring students and promoting wellbeing.
• Manage behaviour incidents and support safeguarding processes.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and staff.
• Help create an environment where all students can succeed.
