Job summary

Elliott Hudson College is seeking a Student Services, Welfare and Administration Officer to support attendance, welfare and student services within its Post-16 team. You will be the first point of contact, promote attendance, support wellbeing and maintain accurate student records to help learners thrive academically and personally.

As part of The GORSE Academies Trust, you will work with safeguarding, SEND and pastoral colleagues to ensure coordinated support and smooth day-to-day operations in

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents/carers and colleagues.
• A calm, professional approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Promote excellent attendance and punctuality across the college.
• Monitor attendance, identify concerns and work with students, parents/carers and staff to improve outcomes.
• Provide front-of-house support through the Student Services office.
• Support student welfare, first aid and medical needs.
• Maintain accurate student records and administrative systems.
• Work with safeguarding, SEND and pastoral colleagues to provide coordinated support for students.
