Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across the college.
  • Monitoring attendance, identifying concerns and working with students, parents/carers and staff to improve outcomes.
  • Providing front-of-house support through the Student Services office.
  • Supporting student welfare, first aid and medical needs.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and administrative systems.
  • Working closely with safeguarding, SEND and pastoral colleagues to provide coordinated support for students.

Job description

Do you have a passion for supporting young people to succeed? We are seeking a highly organized, proactive and caring individual to join our Post-16 team as a Student Services, Welfare and Administration Officer. This is a key role at the heart of the college, providing vital support that enables students to thrive both academically and personally. As a visible and trusted presence within Student Services, you will help promote excellent attendance, support student wellbeing and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the college. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with young people, build positive relationships and make a genuine difference to their educational experience and future aspirations.

About the Role

As a first point of contact for students, you will provide high-quality support across attendance, welfare and student services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across the college.
