Job summary

Dormers Wells High School is seeking a Welfare Officer and Student Receptionist to support pupils, staff and visitors in a friendly, professional manner. You will provide high-quality pastoral care, front-of-house services and act as a first point of contact within the administration team.

The role requires excellent communication, confidentiality and the ability to work under pressure, with a flexible, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students and staff in a school setting.
• Strong communication, organisation and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work in a busy, student-facing environment.
