Job summary

Elliott Hudson College is seeking a proactive Student Services, Welfare and Administration Officer to support Post-16 students. You'll promote attendance, assist welfare needs, and ensure smooth day-to-day administration within Student Services.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents/carers and colleagues.
• A calm, professional approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A commitment to promoting student wellbeing, attendance and achievement.

Responsibilities

• Promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across the college.
• Monitoring attendance, identifying concerns and working with students, parents/carers and staff to improve outcomes.
• Providing front-of-house support through the Student Services office.
• Supporting student welfare, first aid and medical needs.
• Maintaining accurate student records and administrative systems.
• Working closely with safeguarding, SEND and pastoral colleagues to provide coordinated support for students.
