Job summary

University of Suffolk seeks a Student Life Assistant to be the friendly frontline face for visitors, students and staff in a busy campus reception. You will provide accurate information, guidance and a courteous service, both in person and digitally, reflecting our inclusive values.

The role is part time (0.6 FTE/22.2 hours weekly) with a permanent contract, and requires excellent communication and attention to detail in a dynamic environment at Ipswich.

Qualifications

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience dealing with a range of customers in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for visitors, prospective and current students, and staff.
• Provide accurate information, guidance and support on a wide range of topics.
