Qualifications

  • Excellent IT and organisational skills.
  • Educated to 2 AS Levels or 1 A Level or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject area or possess equivalent experience.
  • Ability to speak Welsh fluently and write emails in Welsh to a variety of audiences – essential for this role.

Overview

We are seeking to appoint a Student Life Administrator who will work as a member of the Administration & Business Support team to provide effective support by acting as the first point of contact to students for services including Wellbeing, Inclusivity and ELCOS.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact to students for services such as Wellbeing, Inclusivity and ELCOS.
  • Provide effective support, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use database systems and Microsoft Office applications proficiently.
  • Work with the Administration & Business Support team.
Qualifications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to deal sensitively and calmly with stressful situations.
  • Excellent IT and organisational skills.
  • Educated to 2 AS Levels or 1 A Level or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject area (e.g., Business Administration) or possess equivalent experience.
  • Ability to speak Welsh fluently and write emails in Welsh to a variety of audiences – essential for this role.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework (https://www.bangor.ac.uk/humanresources/dynamicwork.php.en), there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work‑life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
