Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking an experienced Residential Services Manager (Property) to lead the University’s residential property operations within a dynamic student accommodation environment. You will manage a multi-skilled team, drive service excellence, ensure safety and compliance, and support commercial growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing operational teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong leadership with the ability to coach and develop staff.
• Experience managing budgets and producing performance reports.
• In-depth knowledge of residential accommodation operations and health and safety requirements.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
• Analytical, literacy and numeracy skills with degree or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead, motivate and develop teams to deliver outstanding service and performance.
• Oversee property operations, contractor performance and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and accommodation code.
• Manage budgets, deliver value-for-money services and identify efficiencies.
• Support large projects, refurbishments and commercial accommodation activities.
• Develop processes and systems to enhance student satisfaction and efficiency.
• Provide leadership during emergencies and participate in on-call rota.
