Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking an experienced Residential Services Manager (Property) to lead residential property operations within a dynamic student accommodation environment. You will oversee day-to-day management, drive service excellence and develop high-performing teams, reporting to the Head of Residential Services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Experience managing budgets and reporting on performance.
• In-depth knowledge of residential accommodation operations and safety requirements.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification and a strong analytical/numeracy skill set.
• Ability to drive change and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop operational teams to deliver outstanding customer service and performance.
• Manage property operations, contractor performance and service delivery standards across residential accommodation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and the Accommodation Code of Practice.
• Manage budgets, identify value-for-money opportunities and drive efficiencies.
• Support major projects, refurbishment programmes and commercial accommodation activities.
• Develop and implement processes that enhance operational effectiveness and student satisfaction.
• Provide leadership during emergencies and participate in on-call rota.
