Job summary

Bath Spa University is seeking a Student Accommodation Administrator to join the Campus Life team in Bath. You will provide organised, customer-focused administrative support to the Student Accommodation unit, handling enquiries, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings.

The role involves promoting accommodation services at events and ensuring compliance with Data Protection policies, with weekend/evening availability during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience of using computerised systems including database, internet and email.
• Experience of providing excellent customer service
• An understanding of and willingness to observe confidentiality at all times
• Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
• Experience of administration in an education setting
• Experience of working in an accommodation setting
• Educated to Degree level or equivalent
• Proactive engagement with personal and professional development within the role

Responsibilities

• Provide effective administrative support to the Student Accommodation team.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and administrative systems.
• Arrange meetings and take minutes.
• Handle more complex queries appropriately.
• Support the promotion of Student Housing Accommodation Services and accommodation opportunities at Open Days, Applicant Visit Days and other events.
• Ensure compliance with the University's Data Protection Policy.
