Job summary

Unite Group, delivering housing under the Hello Student brand, invites applications for a Student Experience Team Member. This role focuses on welcoming students, resolving issues, and delivering a warm, safe environment that makes residents feel at home.

You’ll work with a team across reception, housekeeping, facilities, and Resident Ambassadors to drive bookings and create a sense of belonging. A culture of care underpins our CARE values: Connect, Act, Respect, and Encourage.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills to create welcoming experiences for students.
• Warm, caring and approachable, confident in communicating with students.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Experience in a customer service role or residential environment is a plus, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly front of house reception and build rapport with students.
• Respond promptly to student feedback and direct them to appropriate support.
• Support sales through viewings, inquiries, and university/housing events.
• Help deliver community-building events with Resident Ambassadors.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and support day/night handovers.
• Assist with wellbeing matters and act quickly when something isn’t right.
• Be a brand ambassador and live CARE principles: Connect, Act, Respect, Encourage.
