Job summary

Unite Group, via its Unite Students brand, is seeking a Student Experience Team Member at New Medlock House in Manchester. You’ll be the friendly face welcoming students, resolving issues, and helping run vibrant community events that foster a sense of home.

You’ll work with the Student Experience Team Leader and colleagues to create a warm, safe, and inclusive environment, delivering 37.5 hours weekly across 7 days including weekends on a rota.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience to create welcoming experiences for students.
• Warm, caring, and approachable communication with students.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide a friendly front-of-house reception and build rapport with students.
• Respond quickly to student feedback and guide to appropriate support.
• Support sales through viewings, enquiries, and university/housing events.
• Help deliver community-building events with Resident Ambassadors.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment and ensure smooth handovers with day/night teams.
• Support wellbeing or welfare matters and act to assist when needed.
• Be a brand ambassador, living CARE principles: Connect, Act, Respect, Encourage.
