Job summary

HRUC College group is seeking an Attendance Co-ordinator to join our School of Business, Sport, Hair and Beauty. The role is 36 hours per week across 39 weeks per year and focuses on working with students, parents, lecturers and College staff to support regular attendance and learning goals.

You will identify attendance and progress issues, engage at risk learners by phone and in person, maintain College systems, produce reports, discuss progress with teaching staff and arrange disciplinary

Responsibilities

• Identify and act on attendance, punctuality and progress issues to maintain high attendance.
• Engage with 'at risk' learners in person and over the telephone.
• Maintain College systems and produce reports on different groups.
• Discuss students’ progress with teaching staff.
• Arrange student disciplinary meetings regarding attendance.
