HRUC College group is seeking an Attendance Co-ordinator to join our School of Business, Sport, Hair and Beauty. The role is 36 hours per week across 39 weeks per year and focuses on working with students, parents, lecturers and College staff to support regular attendance and learning goals.
You will identify attendance and progress issues, engage at risk learners by phone and in person, maintain College systems, produce reports, discuss progress with teaching staff and arrange disciplinary
We are seeking a pro-active and well-organised individual to fill this rewarding role based within our School of Business, Sport, Hair and Beauty. You would work closely with students, their parents, Lecturers and other College staff, working in a proactive way to ensure students attend College regularly and achieve their learning goals.
Responsibilities include identifying and acting immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress to ensure that students maintain an excellent attendance record. You would take a pro-active role, including engaging ‘at risk’ learners in person and over the telephone. You would also maintain College systems, produce reports on different groups, discuss students’ progress with teaching staff and arrange student disciplinary meetings regarding attendance.
