Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a highly experienced Structural Site Manager in Nottingham. This role involves leading the structural assessment and remediation across a major social housing regeneration scheme. Key responsibilities include conducting surveys, developing remediation strategies, and managing structural repairs within occupied properties. Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree and relevant safety certification, along with proven experience in structural investigation and repair. This is a permanent role based in the East Midlands area.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Site Manager focused on structural defects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building methods common in social housing.
  • Essential experience managing works within occupied residential homes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct non-intrusive and intrusive surveys to assess structural defects.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of structural remediation works.
  • Manage structural repairs within occupied properties ensuring tenant safety.
  • Sign off structural integrity before properties are refurbished.
  • Create detailed reports on structural condition and repair scopes.
