Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking a Resource Manager for a Hampshire-based, technology-focused client on a six-month contract. The role coordinates demand and staffing across a portfolio of projects, partnering with project stakeholders, Resource Managers and Line Managers to keep teams appropriately staffed.

You will identify resources, manage capacity, monitor availability and utilisation, resolve conflicts, and support delivery teams with robust workforce planning while contributing to process

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, Operational Resourcing or Resource Planning.
• Experience in a technical, technology or professional services environment is desirable.
• Experience within a defence environment would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A practical and collaborative approach to resolving resourcing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand project demand and resourcing requirements.
• Identify and allocate appropriate resources based on skills, experience and availability.
• Work closely with Resource Managers and Line Managers to manage capacity and optimise resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate visibility of resource availability, utilisation and upcoming demand.
• Identify and resolve potential resource conflicts and allocation issues.
• Support project delivery teams with effective workforce planning and resourcing.
• Contribute to improvements in resource management processes and ways of working.
