Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking a Resource Manager to join a technology-focused organisation in Hampshire on an initial 6-month Inside IR35 contract. The role is hybrid, with 2 days onsite and 3 days working from home, to manage demand and staffing across a portfolio of projects.

You will work with project stakeholders and line managers to ensure staffing aligns with skills, experience and project priorities, while maintaining visibility of capacity, utilisation and upcoming demand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or Resource Planning.
• Experience in a technical, technology, or professional services environment.
• Defence industry experience is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities with multi-priority management.
• Security clearance would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand project demand and resourcing requirements.
• Identify and allocate appropriate resources based on skills, experience and availability.
• Work closely with Resource Managers and Line Managers to manage capacity and optimise resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate visibility of resource availability, utilisation and upcoming demand.
• Identify and resolve potential resource conflicts and allocation issues.
• Support project delivery teams with effective workforce planning and resourcing.
• Contribute to improvements in resource management processes and ways of working.
